No Weddings by Kat Bastion

No WeddingsNo Weddings by Kat Bastion
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

2.5 Disappointing Stars

When i stumble on this book on Netgalley i was really excited to read it but page by page end up being a disaster for me.

What i liked.

The beginning of this book was amazing. This book had the perfect story line, a bad boy womanizer and an "Ice Queen" who won't fall for his charms like all other girls. This made the story so real and down to earth, i was absolutely in love with this book. Also, I loved the connection and the chemistry between the characters, their friendship, even if both were attracted to each other. You could actually feel the sexual chemistry between them while you were reading. And that's something that doesn't happen very often in a book this days.

What i didn't like.

As amazing this book was, slowly it went down hill for me. Yes i understood why the authors need it to give time to both characters to hill but that was really OTT. To wait till the end of the book for the characters to have a kiss i find it ridiculous in special if its a romance book.

From my point of view the first 50% of the book was really fast paced and everything was happening on a normal speed while the last 50% it was dragged so slow and going round and round the bent that it drove me mad. I end up just skipping most of the last 30% and went to the last couple of pages and read the end.

To say that i wasn't impressed with this book is not enough said. It just drove me potty!!! As is nothing what i hate more in a book than a dragged along subject and the most important no sex scenes or at least some mind blowing kisses.

Will I recommend this book? The answer is simple. No
Will I read the rest of this series. The answer is the same. No.

A Night of MisbehavingA Night of Misbehaving by Carmen Falcone

My rating: 4 of 5 star

This books was a short one but witty and pretty HOT. For the amount of pages are in this book i think the author did an amazing job.

The story tells us the story of "Super Mom" Georgia and "Sexy Dad" Brent. Georgia and Brent know each other from the school their kids go Georgia is a single mom with no luck in the love department so she register in a dating site but a good night with humor and no complication. But what she get's it's a totally different thing.

When "Sexy Dad" finds out that his business partner Carl has a date with the "Super Mom" and he demands to go out with her instead of Carl.

"You can't go out with her because she's mine. I'm going on this date instead of you."
"Wait, what" Carl dropped the all and frowned.
"There's no way in hell I'll let you near this woman. She's not your no-strings-attached type, Carl. She is...different."

But he has no intentions to date her, he just tries to get her to agree to put in a good word to the company she works for to support his offer in a business deal. But that changes when he sees her and all his plans flies out the window after couple more complications during their date. Will Brent be able to convince Georgia that not all men are the same and he is not as bad as the mum's gossips about him???

This is my first book i read from this author and certainly won't be he last. I really enjoyed her style of writing and humor she brings to her books. I really enjoyed A Night of Misbehaving, a quick and light read, really witty and lots of humor. What's really not to like.

Recommend it read.

After the Storm (KGI, #8)After the Storm by Maya Banks
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

3.5 Stars Rounded to 4

It's no secret that i am big fan of Maya Banks and in special this series but this book was a bit off for me. It didn't had that spark that other books from the KGI series had. I wasn't impatiently waiting for Van story but even if it pains me to say it I was disappointed.

First of all i have to say that the book seem to be rushed at some points and others dragged around. I hate nothing more than that to happen. And another thing i hate in a book is to wait over 200 pages for a kiss. Nothing more annoying.

A second point is that i am used to the "heat" MB delivers and this one didn't had that either.

And a third point is the way she made her heroes be such bad asses but again this one didn't had none of that either.

Don't get me wrong over all this was a good read but not as good as others. I gave it 1 extra star for Rusty and Sean. I can't wait to read their book. I have highly expectation for it. And a bit extra was for the catching up with the rest of gang.

Ethan (Alluring Indulgence, #4)Ethan by Nicole Edwards
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Scorching Hot Men Loving Stars

OMG, OMG, OMG

Finally Nicole Edwards is going to give me wot i wanted the most!!!

A fully M/M book!!!!
And to say that i am excited about it's not quite right. I can't freaking wait to read it!!!

Bring it on!!!

When i first heard that Nicole Edwards is finally going to write a fully m/m book i was so fucking excited. This is the moment i been waiting since i read her first book. Don't get me wrong i love most of them but to me the chemistry between the male characters is much stronger than between them and the heroine and most of the time i didn't see the point for them being there. But That's just me. But most important, from my point of view i think NE should write only m/m books cause i fucking loved reading Ethan and i can't wait for the next one.

Going back to Ethan i have no words to complain about it. Everything was perfect. From the bickering and the dialog between Ethan and Beau to the chemistry between them and the relation to the rest of the gang NE created.

The book was fast paced and draw me complete from the first page and i couldn't put it down till i finish it. I have to say me being busy lately i forgot that this book was coming out till my bff called me yesterday to ask me if i read it and my words to her were: "Holly shit i forgot all about it" and while i was on the phone with her went on amazon, got it and start reading it 5 min later and i didn't finish it till 4 am this morning. But it was so worth it.

This is my first m/m book i read this year and i hope all of them would be as good as this one. If you are a fan of scorching HOT m/m books this is def the book for you.

RECOMMEND IT READ!!!

Forsaken (The World of Nightwalkers, #3)Forsaken by Jacquelyn Frank
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5 Wonderful Stars

I LOVE this series and this book gives me:
 photo tumblr_m54bnw6sR51qj73e2o1_500_zps975bb9a6.gif

And this book it really gave me Good Vibes.

Since the moment i discovered this series i was fascinated by the world Jacquelyn Frank created and i couldn't get enough of it. So when i saw this book of NetGalley i had to have it and i loved it but not as much as the others but it had nothing to do with the book it was just me. First of all i am not a big fan of books with angels and this was a first for me. But i wanted to read Leo story and i ignored thru the book that Faith was one and get over it.

From the previous book we know that Leo's best friend Jackson is the host to the Pharaoh Menes and cause of that he has been tortured to death and revived again and again, only for the reason the same thing to happen again.

Leo has a hard time to understand the new world he discovered and to connect with Jackson as he done in the past but when Jackson get's hurt he will do everything in his powers to save him even if he has to work with one of them. And that person is Faith, a Night Angel who comes in Jackson's aid when he get's hurt. Leo dose not like her but something strange happens to him when she is around. He hates the fact that he is attracted to her and that she can read him as an open book.

Faith has a hard time being around Leo cause she feels attracted to him but she doesn't like his away of thinking about their world and that he thinks everyone is bad cause of what they done to him.

But together they must find a way to save Jackson and most important they need to find a way to work together and understand each other.

Every time i read a book by this author she leaves absolutely gob smacked with her ability of writing. Her writing it's so flawless, fast paced and not dragged around on and on that you get bored whit the story. Overall this was a great book and i am looking forward to read the next one in this series.

If you love PNR books, you def need to give a go the the wonderful new world Jacquelyn Frank has created in her book. You wont regret it.

Ruined (Ethan Frost, #1)Ruined by Tracy Wolff
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3.5 Stars

This is my first book by this author and i was looking forward to it but unfortunately i struggled a bit with it. The pace of the book was quite slow and dragged around more than it shouldn't but more than anything else i struggled to connect with Chloe. She actually did my absolutely head in with her over thinking and all the silly little things she did during the book.

But instead i loved Ethan. He is sexy, sweet, dominating, but in the nice way and the most important protective towards Chloe. Even if didn't agree all the time with the way he did some things, i could past them and understand it most of the time. If you read the book you will understand what i am talking about it.

I have to say that i did not see the end coming and i can't wait to read the second book of this series. I am not a big fan of cliffhangers endings in a book and this one let me with a big one. Really looking forward to the next book in this series.

Wanted (Most Wanted, #1)Wanted by J. Kenner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Stars

Wanted is the first book in the Most Wanted series by J. Kenner and i really enjoyed it. I wasn't sure how much i will like it but it def excited my expectations.

In Wanted we read the story of Evan and Angie and as almost all books lately i loved the hero and liked the heroine. It's not that i don't want to love her but she made me roll my eyes couple of times with her over thinking everything, to be the good girl and try to be more like her sister and to please her parents. And yes she had her past to consider and her reason to try to prevent her wild side to come out but still.

Evan and Angie know each other for a long time but Angie has been "warned" and asked to make promises by her uncle not to dream at Evan cause he has many secret and is not for her but that's the fun of it till in the end, Angie does not listen and start a relation ship with Evan and it was spectacular.

And Evan, OMG, he is so HOT, SEXY, and the perfect bad boy in everything he does. From the business side to personal life.

The chemistry and the connection between this 2 was really amazing and I could actually feel it when i read the book. And i love it when that happens. I loved the way Evan opened up to Angie, and told her his secrets and let her help him with something would've been a big fuck up for him and his 2 best friends Tyler and Cole.

As much as i would love to read more about Evan and Angie i really like that this series is not only about them and i am waiting impatiently to read Tyler and Cole's books.

Overall this book is a great sexy read and if you like your hero's as bad boys with a strike of kink this is def for you.
