No Weddings by Kat Bastion

No WeddingsNo Weddings by Kat Bastion
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

2.5 Disappointing Stars

When i stumble on this book on Netgalley i was really excited to read it but page by page end up being a disaster for me.

What i liked.

The beginning of this book was amazing. This book had the perfect story line, a bad boy womanizer and an "Ice Queen" who won't fall for his charms like all other girls. This made the story so real and down to earth, i was absolutely in love with this book. Also, I loved the connection and the chemistry between the characters, their friendship, even if both were attracted to each other. You could actually feel the sexual chemistry between them while you were reading. And that's something that doesn't happen very often in a book this days.

What i didn't like.

As amazing this book was, slowly it went down hill for me. Yes i understood why the authors need it to give time to both characters to hill but that was really OTT. To wait till the end of the book for the characters to have a kiss i find it ridiculous in special if its a romance book.

From my point of view the first 50% of the book was really fast paced and everything was happening on a normal speed while the last 50% it was dragged so slow and going round and round the bent that it drove me mad. I end up just skipping most of the last 30% and went to the last couple of pages and read the end.

To say that i wasn't impressed with this book is not enough said. It just drove me potty!!! As is nothing what i hate more in a book than a dragged along subject and the most important no sex scenes or at least some mind blowing kisses.

Will I recommend this book? The answer is simple. No
Will I read the rest of this series. The answer is the same. No.

A Night of MisbehavingA Night of Misbehaving by Carmen Falcone

My rating: 4 of 5 star

This books was a short one but witty and pretty HOT. For the amount of pages are in this book i think the author did an amazing job.

The story tells us the story of "Super Mom" Georgia and "Sexy Dad" Brent. Georgia and Brent know each other from the school their kids go Georgia is a single mom with no luck in the love department so she register in a dating site but a good night with humor and no complication. But what she get's it's a totally different thing.

When "Sexy Dad" finds out that his business partner Carl has a date with the "Super Mom" and he demands to go out with her instead of Carl.

"You can't go out with her because she's mine. I'm going on this date instead of you."
"Wait, what" Carl dropped the all and frowned.
"There's no way in hell I'll let you near this woman. She's not your no-strings-attached type, Carl. She is...different."

But he has no intentions to date her, he just tries to get her to agree to put in a good word to the company she works for to support his offer in a business deal. But that changes when he sees her and all his plans flies out the window after couple more complications during their date. Will Brent be able to convince Georgia that not all men are the same and he is not as bad as the mum's gossips about him???

This is my first book i read from this author and certainly won't be he last. I really enjoyed her style of writing and humor she brings to her books. I really enjoyed A Night of Misbehaving, a quick and light read, really witty and lots of humor. What's really not to like.

Recommend it read.

After the Storm (KGI, #8)After the Storm by Maya Banks
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

3.5 Stars Rounded to 4

It's no secret that i am big fan of Maya Banks and in special this series but this book was a bit off for me. It didn't had that spark that other books from the KGI series had. I wasn't impatiently waiting for Van story but even if it pains me to say it I was disappointed.

First of all i have to say that the book seem to be rushed at some points and others dragged around. I hate nothing more than that to happen. And another thing i hate in a book is to wait over 200 pages for a kiss. Nothing more annoying.

A second point is that i am used to the "heat" MB delivers and this one didn't had that either.

And a third point is the way she made her heroes be such bad asses but again this one didn't had none of that either.

Don't get me wrong over all this was a good read but not as good as others. I gave it 1 extra star for Rusty and Sean. I can't wait to read their book. I have highly expectation for it. And a bit extra was for the catching up with the rest of gang.

Ethan (Alluring Indulgence, #4)Ethan by Nicole Edwards
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Scorching Hot Men Loving Stars

OMG, OMG, OMG

Finally Nicole Edwards is going to give me wot i wanted the most!!!

A fully M/M book!!!!
And to say that i am excited about it's not quite right. I can't freaking wait to read it!!!

Bring it on!!!

When i first heard that Nicole Edwards is finally going to write a fully m/m book i was so fucking excited. This is the moment i been waiting since i read her first book. Don't get me wrong i love most of them but to me the chemistry between the male characters is much stronger than between them and the heroine and most of the time i didn't see the point for them being there. But That's just me. But most important, from my point of view i think NE should write only m/m books cause i fucking loved reading Ethan and i can't wait for the next one.

Going back to Ethan i have no words to complain about it. Everything was perfect. From the bickering and the dialog between Ethan and Beau to the chemistry between them and the relation to the rest of the gang NE created.

The book was fast paced and draw me complete from the first page and i couldn't put it down till i finish it. I have to say me being busy lately i forgot that this book was coming out till my bff called me yesterday to ask me if i read it and my words to her were: "Holly shit i forgot all about it" and while i was on the phone with her went on amazon, got it and start reading it 5 min later and i didn't finish it till 4 am this morning. But it was so worth it.

This is my first m/m book i read this year and i hope all of them would be as good as this one. If you are a fan of scorching HOT m/m books this is def the book for you.

RECOMMEND IT READ!!!

Forsaken (The World of Nightwalkers, #3)Forsaken by Jacquelyn Frank
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5 Wonderful Stars

I LOVE this series and this book gives me:
 photo tumblr_m54bnw6sR51qj73e2o1_500_zps975bb9a6.gif

And this book it really gave me Good Vibes.

Since the moment i discovered this series i was fascinated by the world Jacquelyn Frank created and i couldn't get enough of it. So when i saw this book of NetGalley i had to have it and i loved it but not as much as the others but it had nothing to do with the book it was just me. First of all i am not a big fan of books with angels and this was a first for me. But i wanted to read Leo story and i ignored thru the book that Faith was one and get over it.

From the previous book we know that Leo's best friend Jackson is the host to the Pharaoh Menes and cause of that he has been tortured to death and revived again and again, only for the reason the same thing to happen again.

Leo has a hard time to understand the new world he discovered and to connect with Jackson as he done in the past but when Jackson get's hurt he will do everything in his powers to save him even if he has to work with one of them. And that person is Faith, a Night Angel who comes in Jackson's aid when he get's hurt. Leo dose not like her but something strange happens to him when she is around. He hates the fact that he is attracted to her and that she can read him as an open book.

Faith has a hard time being around Leo cause she feels attracted to him but she doesn't like his away of thinking about their world and that he thinks everyone is bad cause of what they done to him.

But together they must find a way to save Jackson and most important they need to find a way to work together and understand each other.

Every time i read a book by this author she leaves absolutely gob smacked with her ability of writing. Her writing it's so flawless, fast paced and not dragged around on and on that you get bored whit the story. Overall this was a great book and i am looking forward to read the next one in this series.

If you love PNR books, you def need to give a go the the wonderful new world Jacquelyn Frank has created in her book. You wont regret it.

Ruined (Ethan Frost, #1)Ruined by Tracy Wolff
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3.5 Stars

This is my first book by this author and i was looking forward to it but unfortunately i struggled a bit with it. The pace of the book was quite slow and dragged around more than it shouldn't but more than anything else i struggled to connect with Chloe. She actually did my absolutely head in with her over thinking and all the silly little things she did during the book.

But instead i loved Ethan. He is sexy, sweet, dominating, but in the nice way and the most important protective towards Chloe. Even if didn't agree all the time with the way he did some things, i could past them and understand it most of the time. If you read the book you will understand what i am talking about it.

I have to say that i did not see the end coming and i can't wait to read the second book of this series. I am not a big fan of cliffhangers endings in a book and this one let me with a big one. Really looking forward to the next book in this series.

Wanted (Most Wanted, #1)Wanted by J. Kenner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Stars

Wanted is the first book in the Most Wanted series by J. Kenner and i really enjoyed it. I wasn't sure how much i will like it but it def excited my expectations.

In Wanted we read the story of Evan and Angie and as almost all books lately i loved the hero and liked the heroine. It's not that i don't want to love her but she made me roll my eyes couple of times with her over thinking everything, to be the good girl and try to be more like her sister and to please her parents. And yes she had her past to consider and her reason to try to prevent her wild side to come out but still.

Evan and Angie know each other for a long time but Angie has been "warned" and asked to make promises by her uncle not to dream at Evan cause he has many secret and is not for her but that's the fun of it till in the end, Angie does not listen and start a relation ship with Evan and it was spectacular.

And Evan, OMG, he is so HOT, SEXY, and the perfect bad boy in everything he does. From the business side to personal life.

The chemistry and the connection between this 2 was really amazing and I could actually feel it when i read the book. And i love it when that happens. I loved the way Evan opened up to Angie, and told her his secrets and let her help him with something would've been a big fuck up for him and his 2 best friends Tyler and Cole.

As much as i would love to read more about Evan and Angie i really like that this series is not only about them and i am waiting impatiently to read Tyler and Cole's books.

Overall this book is a great sexy read and if you like your hero's as bad boys with a strike of kink this is def for you.

Rebel (Renegades, #2)Rebel by Skye Jordan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5 Hot And Sexy Melting Chocolate Ice Cream Stars

When i got this book as an ARC i was really excited. When i read the first book in this series i have to say that i wasn't to impressed with it, and mostly cause i couldn't really connect with Lexi and Jax, so i wanted another opportunity to try again a book by this author.

We first meet Rubi in the first book of this series Reckless, she is Lexi's BFF and i thought to my self then when i was reading it, holly shit i like her and i totally did.

Rubi comes across as the bad girl, feisty, witty, who does what she wants when she wants, having a big issue with commitments cause of her dad and other things from her childhood, fuck who she wants, never letting a guy get close to her and never going back for second times. But that work for her till she meets Wes, Jax friend, cause she wants him closer to her than she wants to turn him down and that's a BIG problem for our girl here.

Wes is totally the opposite Rubi, a good boy but not quite, likes his girls sweet, but something deep inside draws him to her and he will do everything necessary to get close to her and convince her that not all mans are like her dad.

I must specify that i fucking loved and adore Wes. He is drop dead gorgeous, sweet, sex on fire melt your panties kind of guy, an adrenaline junkie who likes sports cars and motorcycle's, but wot the heck that's expecting when he is a stunt guy.

The most pleasant surprise that come out of this book was the SEX SCENES. HOLY-FUCKING-SHIT. Hands down to Skye Jordan, she can fucking write them. Some of the sex scenes were fucking out of the world, got me all hot and bothered while i was reading and that dose not happen very often.

He slid his mouth from her lips to her cheek, her jaw."God, i want to suck you," he murmured, keeping his fingers light over her pussy. Teasing. "I want to lick you. I want to eat you. I want to fuck you with my tongue. So good. It would be so good."

The sex scene with the ice cream OMG that was SCORCHING HOT. Really i never read something like this before. First of all i LOVE Haagen-Dasz ice cream in all flavors and is my fave and i must say i went thru 2 jars while i was reading this book and i never can eat it again with out remembering this book.

 photo hagendasz_zpsbdf51962.jpg

He yanked her panties off her legs and, with his gaze locked on her pussy, went for another handful of ice cream. "Wes__" she said in warning, struggling to scoot back on the counter. "Don't __ " His hands pressed between her legs with a handful of cold chocolate. Rubi squealed, whimpered, pleaded. He ignored her. The touch of his hand so
deliberate, confident, so perfect, the ice cream didn't seem cold anymore. She was hot.Burning to have his cock sliding between her legs. She fell back on her elbows, and lifted her hips.

Wes spread her tights with the chocolate-smeared hands and bent, pressing his open, hot mouth to her pussy.

Overall i enjoyed this book A LOT, more than i expected. The only reasons i didn't rate it as a 5 stars was how annoying Rubi was sometimes, as other heroines, over thinking everything, and some parts of the book it felt a bit to dragged around and the end a bit too abrupt but the rest was perfect. I will def read again books by this author and i can't wait to see wot else she can bring on the table.

Recommend it read.

 photo omggif_zps53d27f2e.gif

I recently noticed that i didn't wrote a review for this book and i am deeply sorry i complete forgot about it, and i decided to re read it again. And i have to admit i liked it more than the first time.

I loved Julietta and Sawyer story. I love nothing more than a strong heroine who gives back as good as she gets. And Sawyer it's so edible, tormented and fucked up but that just made me love him more.

I truly enjoyed this book and i am looking forward to read more books from this author!!!

If you enjoy reading a book with a bit of kink, a strong heroine and a edible hero a bit fucked by his past this is the book for you.

Recommend it read.

Breaking Point (Turning Point, #2)Breaking Point by N.R. Walker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Beautiful Heart Breaking Stars

This is the best m/m book i read lately that involves cops after my ultimate favorite series Cut&Run by Abigail Roux.

To say that i loved this book is the least i could say, cause i fucking loved it. This book it's just perfect. From the story line to the connection between the MC's,  and their relation with the rest of the characters that takes part and we meet in this book.

I read the first book of this series from my friend Isa and i  can't say that i loved as much as did with this one but i enjoyed it. I am a big sucker for books when the hero is a policeman or anything that has to do with police in general,  but when that book it's an m/m, holly sugar that  makes it even better.

Returning to the subject at hand, if you expect to read a book that contains lots of hot dirty sex you are wrong. This book is about love, courage, and trying to fight against everything that puts the person you love in danger, even if sometime that person it's you and you are willing to sacrifice everything for it.

The story line it's so beautiful written from the beginning, all the way thru the book and to the last word of it. You can feel everything Matt is going thru and his struggle to pull it thru. The writing it's flawless and not for a single second you will be able to put it down. Well, at least  i couldn't, and nothing makes me happier than this when i read a good book.

If it's something i would've loved in this book it's to have Kira's point of view, but even so i wouldn't  marked this book for it.

If you are a fan of emotional  m/m books, and you like to read one, when not everything it's about hot monkey sex, and to see a hero suffer, physically and mentally,  this is the one for you. Will really worth it.

I Strongly recommend it and that says something, cause as i am very, but very picky with my m/m books.

I really hope everyone  out there will give this book a chance and you will read it.

No StringsNo Strings by Aline Hunter
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3 stars

No Strings is a very hot and short read with a good story that had a lot of prospective and could've been a good book but the end hasn't lived up to it. For me it feel like the book hasn't been finished and that's a shame cuz i quite enjoyed it and would've been much dif if had another end or let's say that if actually had a proper end.

I must admit the sex scenes were extremely hot and sexy but sometime a good book need more than that to be a good book. I was very disappointed with the end to be honest and quite grateful that the other books by Aline Hunter they weren't the same as this one.

3.5 Annoying heroine Stars

I find it really hard to rate this book as my feelings are the same as the first book. Don't get me wrong i absolutely love this series and Remy but Brooke really fucks up everything, big time. I really, but really hate her. She does not have no consideration and trust towards Remy most of the time and make everything about her. She really spoils this series. Well for me any way.

While i was reading this book she remember me so much of Anastasia Steel but much more annoying. I never thought i will be able to find another heroine as her but i was wrong.

As i love Remy i am looking forward to the next book in the series. I hope his point of view will just make me love him even more.

try photo TRYVASY_zps37f5ff56.jpg

Try is the first book in the Tempation series and the first m/m book from the amazing Ella Frank, were she finally give us the full story of Logan after we meet him for the first time in Edible, in Cole's book.

Logan is Cole's half brother, and partner, in the law firm they own together and let me tell you, i wasn't impressed with him. At all. More exactly i thought he is such a cocky arrogant ass and a spoiled brat. But Ella did an amazing job at redeeming Logan and show us a glimpse of the good guy under that cocky bastard he seems to be.

My reaction when i first heard about this book.

 photo ohyeah_zps4315896d.gif

And let me tell you ladies this reaction does not make justice to wot i am feeling right now. This book was absolutely AMAZING. FUCKING BLISS to someone like me, addicted to steamy and hot m/m books.

And finally let's meet our boys.

Logan
 photo loganglasses_zps67c68e12.jpg

 photo logan_zpsb015bf86.jpg

Logan is a handsome successful lawyer, cocky, arrogant but pretty much a man-whore, who fucks everything he want's and when he wants. And from the first moment when he walked into After Hours, his favorite bar to unwind after a long day at the office, and spotted Tate he want's him. And it was impossible for Logan to resist and not to TRY to seduce him.

"I'd like to TRY you"

Tate

 photo hotmen4_zps6a2513e3.jpg

Tate is the new sexy bartender from the After Hours who is trying to get on with his life after a messy divorce. But his life is going to change even more in ways he never imagined after his meeting with a certain sexy lawyer who doesn't know to accept the word NO and likes to win at all times. But the question is, will Tate give in to Logan and TRY ?

You're full of confidence, I'll give you that.
But i have to tell you, you're barking up the
wrong tree"

I LOVED everything about this book. From the sexy flirting and witty dialogues to they chemistry, attraction and steamy sex scenes. I have to admit the sex scenes weren't steamy, they were off the charts, they were HOT, HOT, HOT. I don't think i highlight it a book as much as this one.

If you are a fan of steamy m/m books, or a Ella Frank fan this is the one for you.

Recommend it read.

Many thanks to Ella Frank for providing me with a copy of this book.

Blood Redemption (Blood Curse, #5)Blood Redemption by Tessa Dawn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Mind Blowing Stars

Blood redemption is the 5 book in the Blood Curse series by Tessa Dawn and it was yet again another amazing, mind blowing and breathtaking story.

This series in general it's so original from all points of view. This is not your usual vampire book as much as much as i would like it to be, this series is very dark, with lots pain and bad things happening but in the same time spectacular and you can't resist not reading more and more and find out wot is going to happen next to one of the vampire from the Jadon house or wot bad things are the vampire from the Jaegar house are trying to do.

Blood Redemption is the story of Saber Alexiares alias Sabino Dzuna born as a child of light but kidnapped from his crib by Damien Alexiares and brought up as a dark one. When he is sent by the dark lord to kill Deanna Dubois, he get's captured and sentenced to death: to burn in the sun. But to everyone surprise from the house of Jadon he doesn't burn and they find out he is not from the Jaegar house but one of them. How will they react and wot they will do now when he caused so much pain to one of their own? Will it bee any chance to find some light in a dark soul who had been brought up to cause pain to everyone in the house of Jadon?

Vanya Demir is the heart of goodness and light, a princess, an ancient female from a magical race, and celestial before they were cursed by the Blood. With her sense of duty; naïve upbringing; and tragic, personal history, she has packed her heart in ice and dedicated her life to the service of the Vampyr. She is unprepared to face a fire-breathing dragon and her new destiny that get's bound with Saber and his Serpens Blood Moon celestial when that appears. They have just 30 days to confront the primordial darkness that threatens to destroy them both and the gods decision to bound them together. Can they find the light in Saber heart darkness? Can they find hope and the blood redemption in him? Join them and find out wot how they going to fight against the odds and everyone else and how they going to try forgive Saber and if they can find the light at the end of tunnel.

I just purely loved this book. The story grabbed my attention from the first page when i started to read and never let go till the end. I just couldn't stop and oh boy, it was amazing, purely spectacular.

I said all along that this series it's more special to me as is the only vampire series i read till now and the first author i know that brings into it, and reminds us from were everything started, Romania, my birth country. This book, and the series in general actually has some romanian words and and that warms my heart and makes it even more special. You will regret missing out on an amazing book that will take you to a dif dimension and something new brought out in the PNR world.

Recommended it read to everyone out there who loves PNR and dark romance.

Jagged (Colorado Mountain, #5)Jagged by Kristen Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Stars Pure Kristen Ashley Class

This is the type of book i call "Pure Kristen Ashley Class". This is the type of book that made me fell in love with Kristen Ashley writing, this sort of book that i missed in the last 2 books from her.

Jagged is the 5 book in the Colorado Mountain Series and yet again Kristen Ashley manged to bring out another AMAZING and SPECTACULAR book in this series. To be honest i am not sure how she pules it off but with almost every book she makes me fell in love again and again with her writing, characters and stories. Just UNBELIEVABLE. If you are a Kristen Ashely fan you know exactly wot i meant.

When i started reading this book at the beginning i was a bit sceptical after reading a couple of reviews when i decided to stop doing it and just wait to make my mind up on my won with out any influence from anyone and OMG i don;r regret it. I just LOVED and ADORE this book.

If i will try to describe this book in 5 words they will be the following: AMAZING, OUTSTANDING, BREATHTAKING, SWEET and HOT just a la KA.

Graham Reece and Zara Cinders make a beautiful couple with ups and down, but they get there till in the end and when they get there is one of the most amazing moments from a book. No one knows better than Kristen Ashley to right a damn good hero telling and showing his woman that he loves her.

Graham is sexy, sweet, intense, dominant, bad ass and alpha male but most important AMAZING.

"A man is not what he says, babe. He is what he does."

"The only thing I got, the only thing i realized months ago
I've had for long fuckin' time, is what I've kept as close
as i could until i was ready to take it all the way, and
that's fuckin' you."

"Drove away from you nine years ago, knew it was wrong then,
didn't know that it was the biggest mistake i'd make
in my life"

Tara Cinders it's a very sweet, beautiful, sassy, witty and strong woman who had so much shit in her life that not many people could puled thru but never gave up and she got reward and spoiled with an amazing man and good friends. She knows to throw sass and never to back down in an fight with Ham and i loved that about her. Made her just perfect for him.

In general everything was just perfect in this book. From the story to the connection and the chemistry between Reece and Zara. While i was reading this book i was able to feel both characters while they were going thru happiness, tears, making love or them interaction with their friends. They sex scenes was so HOT and sweet that makes your panties wet. It was one of the things i missed in Kristen books but she totally puled it off again and i LOVED it. Pure bliss to read a book with sexy and hot sex scenes.

Another amazing thing about this book was to meet again with Nina and Max and the rest of the gang which appeared in the previous book. Was and amazing and pleasant surprise. Nina and Max are still "the shit"

If it's something i would've loved to see more in the book was Graham point of view but even so this book was still one of my best reads of this year so far.

I will recommend this book to all Kristen Ashley fans but in general to every one who loves a sassy and witty heroine and a bad ass alpha male.

A Christmas to Remember (Includes: Chaos #2.5, Last Chance #5.5)A Christmas to Remember by Jill Shalvis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Christmassy Stars

This review it's based only on the story Every Year by Kristen Ashley. As I never read any of the authors who took part in this collection and as i am suspecting that the stories are connected with other books i do not see the point reading something i will not understand properly.

Now getting back to "Every Year" i have to say that i loved it. As i do with most of Kristen Ashley books but this one is a bit more special and i tell you the reason why. Every book i can get my hands on and i can read more about Tyra and Tack it's a bonus for me. I love this two so much and i miss them even more. Seeing them together with Rider and Cutter it's a even bigger bonus and i have to say Tack still does wot he wants and talks as he wants even if Tyra throws him the usual glares but he does not care and get's away with it as per usual.

The story is written from Tabby's point of view and it describes the Christmas in the Allen family. It was a pleasure to see how their interaction hasn't changed at all, not even a bit since the last time we read their books. As usual Tabby is Tabby, happy over the moon in her relation ship with "Shy", a bigger friendship between her and Tyra and a bigger connection between her and "Tack". And Rush is just being his usual, who i think is going to be a replica of Tack and i am really but really hoping that he will have his own book.

Another addition to their family is Landon, "Shy" brother who seems to be around more when he has a leave from the army. And again i am hoping that KA will write his own book. He is such an interesting character and i really want to discover his secrets and see him happy.

Overall this it's the perfect book to read for the holiday season with so many other bonuses.

Recommend it read.

Bad IdeaBad Idea by Damon Suede

DNF at 45%

When i first heard about this book i was very excited as Damon Suede has a special place in my heart as Hot Head is my first M/M book i read and made me fell in love with this genre. Unfortunately i can't say the same thing about Bad Idea, or maybe this is one of them books when most people loves it and i don't.

I am really gutted that i couldn't get into it and i tried and tried again and again but i have to admit that this wasn't my cuppa.

First of all you need to be aware that this book is nothing like Hot Head, is the exact opposite. This book is very, but very geeky and nerdy. Well for me it was any way. But that was my main issue.

My main problem with this book was that most of the time the subject was all over the place, jumping from a subject to another one and i had no idea wot the heck was going on. And that made really confused. The writing in general was very confusing, well for me anyway, and i am thinking right now maybe Damon made it like this in purpose, Who knows.

Because of all mentioned above i am not gone rate this book, it wouldn't be fair that i couldn't get into it. I was very aware that i might not like it or get it.

But this is just my personal experience with this book and that shouldn't stop you to give it a try. You never know, you might like it.

Never Love a Highlander (McCabe Trilogy, #3)Never Love a Highlander by Maya Banks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 stars

Never Love a Highlander is the 3 book from the McCabe Trilogy and in my opinion the best of this series. An amazing story with an amazing plot that had me captivated from the beginning to the end, i couldn't put it down till i finish it.

Rionna McDonald its a beautiful lass, wild and strong minded who prefers to dress like a man and fight like an warrior princess instead of dressing like a lady and act like one. She is to be married with Alaric McCabe to create an alliance for her clan and fight against the number one enemy of McCabe's clan Duncan Cameron but with a twist of fate and love she ends up marrying the wrong brother.

Caelen McCabe is a man hunted by the mistakes of his past and will do everything in his powers to make it right to his clan even if he has to marry, when he took a vow never to trust a woman again.

This book has the perfect blend: romance, passion, honor and duty.

"I've never known such a fire and sweetness," he said behind clench teeth.
"You are a temptress, wife.'Tis the truth you kneel at my feet, but 'tis I who am for practical purpose at yours."

I loved everything about this book: the story, the plot, how strong minded Rionna is but full of honor, doing her duty and wot was best for her clan.
Caelen is a hard man and grumpy who scowls most of the time but sweet temptress Rionna makes him crazy desiring her and makes him change his mind.

This story was so well written, Maya Banks lets me speechless how to describe her highlander books, they just gets better and better. The love scenes were so sweet and HOT that made me droll and be jealous of Rionna. It's been ages since i read such a hot book. I just didn't want to end.

If you haven't read this book till now you need to start it ASAP. Will so worth it.
