A Dark Kiss of Rapture by Sylvia Day

The Blurb

Of all the Fallen, Raze's hungers are some of the darkest and most insatiable. His brazen seductions cost him his wings, leaving him soulless and immortal, the most dangerous of seducers. He has roamed the earth for eons, hunting the rogues of his kind and protecting the humans who provide him with blood and sex. He is content with his life and the transient pleasures that flow through it... until one night and one woman change everything.

Kimberly McAdams is smart, beautiful, and wealthy. She can have any man she wants, but the moment she sets eyes on the lethally stunning Raze she knows he's the man she needs. As one searingly erotic night burns into something deeper and far more vital than either of them expected, an adversary from Raze's past sees a chance for revenge. Twisted by hatred, she will take from Raze what was taken from her—the precious gift of love.

Forever by Jacquelyn Frank

Forever is the second book from the The World of Nightwalkers series of
Jacquelyn Frank and i loved it. I am not a big fan of paranormal books and i never
thought i will find another series to love so much. This books made me buy all books
connected with this series and i can't wait to read them.

At the end of the first book Jackson Waverly dies and he is being reborn as the host for Menes the Egyptian pharaoh and the king of Bodywalkers.

Till the blending with Menes is complete, Jackson has 3 weeks to still be able to stay in daylight and to be close to the woman he realized he loves Dr. Marissa Anderson.

In the same time Menes has chosen Marissa to be the host for his beloved it queen Hatshepsut’s and cause Jackson loves Marissa the situation is perfect for both of them. But what will take to convince Marissa to be give up everything she knows for something she doesn't even know yet.

My thoughts about this book.

The first thing i can say about this book is:

I liked the first book of this series but i absolutely LOVED this book. Totally blew me away. This book is amazingly perfectly written and not very often i see that happening.

Another reason to love this book is the amazing Egyptian world Jacquelyn Frank takes us . I am big fan of they history and that's makes this series even more special to me.

So if you are in research for a good paranormal book, this is the perfect book to start with, but you will have to read the first book in this series as they are connected with each other.

How To Misbehave by Ruthie Knox

How to Misbehave is the first book in Camelot series and i have to say that i wasn't very impressed with it and quite disappointed.

The blurb

As program director for the Camelot Community Center, Amber Clark knows how to keep her cool. That is, until a sudden tornado warning forces her to take shelter in a darkened basement with a hunk of man whose sex appeal green lights her every fantasy. With a voice that would melt chocolate, he asks her if she is okay. Now she's hot all over and wondering: How does a girl make a move?

Building contractor Tony Mazzara was just looking to escape nature's fury. Instead, he finds himself all tangled up with lovely Amber. Sweet and sexy, she's ready to unleash her wild side. Their mutual desire reaches a fever pitch and creates a storm of its own--unexpected, powerful, and unforgettable. But is it bigger than Tony can handle? Can he let go of painful memories and let the force of this remarkable woman show him a future he never dreamed existed?

Ruthie Knox it's a fairly good writer and i enjoyed and loved her previous books but that wasn't the case for this one as well.

I loved the first 75% of the book, how well this book was written and how good the story was for a novella. But i have to say the end of the book was a DISASTER. Why are they doing this?? Why ruin the end  after you build the story so nicely?

I understand perfectly that this was a Novella but at the end the story developed way to quick for my liking and that everything happened so quickly. As usual Ruthie Knox hasn't disappoint her readers with  the love scenes. They were as sexy and hot as she got us used to.

Sins From Her Past by Jules Bennett

Sin From The Past is a very emotional, heartbreaking story, sweet and pretty good written.

Vincent Hawk is a sexy millionaire in the hotel business who loves his best friend sister for years but he never had the courage to say anything in respect for his friend afraid not tu ruin they friendship. But that changes when she moves back in town to start her own business, and when his friend ask him to give her a chance in his new resort he sees that as a way to get closer to her and find out more about her.

Evelyn Banks is a woman trapped in silence in her awful past that controls her life even now after many years. When she decided to move back home and start her own business her friend Vince Hawk the famous hotelier and asked her to work with him at his new resort she jumps at this opportunity. But can she control her feelings for him or face her past to be able to have a future with him?

I loved Vin. He is a such a sweet and tender man who loves Eve a lot but he is confused by her when he noticed how jumpy she is, almost every time he touches her. He is so very patience trying to make her feel comfortable around him, and to tell him wot happened that made her the way she is.

Eve is a sweet beautiful woman, insecure and i can understand that cause of her past but blind me she was so annoying over thinking all time everything. Not trusting her own brother and Vin to stand by her. Even almost at the end of the book she didn't trusted Vin thinking he will believe wot is worse out of her.

I liked this book, was a good read, with an emotional story that touches me all the time thinking that many women's goes thru this and we not  going to be able to understand they pain, only if we will suffer the same.

Even if i liked this book, unfortunately for me, this book didn't actually come together as much as  i would've liked. While i read this book i couldn't felt  no connection or chemistry between the characters and that's a big issue for me.

The Proposal by Katie Ashley

I'll have to start this review by admitting how much i enjoyed the second books in this series. After i read the first book i never thought i will enjoy the second one  as much as i did. In the first book i felt that something was missing but the second books was really good. Katie Ashley did a very good job.

With a fear from the past Aidan is scared to have a commitment relationship with Emma and after he messed up big time begs her forgiveness and does all in his power to win her back, in special when in Emma life's appears the handsome Dr Pesh Nadeen when his dad is rushed up to the hospital.

But Emma is not ready to forgive Aidan and he has to work hard to win her back and she doesn't make it easy for him.It was nice to see how Aidan works his butt off to win Emma back and how sweet and cute he can be and reveals the real man he can be.

I was even more surprised when Emma reveals her sassiness, flirtiness and how playful she can be. I enjoyed how they relationship develops after they got back together.

I really enjoyed this book it's a bit different than other books i read lately and i am happy that i gave it a chance.

Well done Katie.

The Guy Next Door by Julie Foster

This review is for Ready, Set, Jett by Lori Foster

I have mixed feelings bout this book, i had it 4 a while but i never found the time for this series.

I really really loved Jett, he is awesome, sweet, good looking, a totally alfa male and bad ass ex FBI and P.I. in present.

Natalie is a school teacher, cute, very skittish cuz of her back ground, coming from a rich family with a dad which expected perfection from her and her sister Molly and her mom which commits suicide when she was little.

They meet in the lobby of the building they are neighbours and after months of flirting they jump each other bones and they can't get enough of each other. But Jett dosen't understand why Natalie dosen't want's more from him, and why she is quite happy with relation based purely on sex, so he scoops in her past and finds out about her father and he is not surprised so he decide to find out more from her by tying her to the bed and drive her crazy with sex and to ask whatever he wants to know.I loved this scene OMG it was hot, not pain just purely pleasure and asking question and getting the answers by driving her crazy. In this way he finds out bout her ex which he wanted her money not her and that's way she dosen't wants to get involved again and she dosen't says teh truth bout her. Till in the end Jett convince Natalie to give a chance to they relation and see were it's going and after a night of pleasure they set for a 10 day holiday to discover more bout each other.
In they way to Tennessee they get caught in a snow storm and almost having an accident, Jett discovers that he loves Natalie wants the same thing nothing else.

In my opinion Jett made this book. He is sexy, charming, witty and can make her laugh and drives her crazy any time of the day. Makes Natalie comfortable something which is unusual for her in a relation with another man and sex was never the same for her.

He is the one who push her to take a risk and try to have more than a fling, he is the one who confess first that he loved her and many others first.

Even if the book had some lacking was a fun read.

Lover At Last by J.R.Ward

Lover At Last is the 11 book from the series Black Dagger Brotherhood by J. R. Ward one of the most expected books from 2013 and i have to say after waiting for over 6 month for it i was DISAPPOINTED

Reasons why:

1. As we all know by now apart of the main story of the book are other side stories and in this one J.R. Ward went OTT with the side stories.

I had the feeling for 3/4 of the book that had fuck all to do with Qhuinn and Blay. You hardly see them appearing hear and there. WTF???

2. Lover At Last was the first m/m romance J.R. Ward wrote and it wasn't wot i expected, not by far. First of all in the previous books from the Black Dagger Brotherhood J.R. Ward got us used with lots of FANTASTIC SEX but in this one NOT SO MUCH. I have to admit the few encounters between Qhuinn and Blay BLOW me away but wasn't enough. I WANTED MORE.

3. The ending was way to abrupt and to quick.

Over all Lover At Last was a good read and i enjoy it but i would've loved that Qhuinn and Blay will spend more QUALITY time together.
